About Dr. Relan
Dr. Manish Relan is a board-certified Rheumatologist, founder of Arthritis & Rheumatology Care Center in Jacksonville, Florida, and President of Florida Society of Rheumatology. He is a graduate of Armed Forces Medical College, India and completed his Internship at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center and Residency at Scranton Temple Residency Program, Scranton, Pennsylvania. He received his Rheumatology training at University of Florida at Jacksonville. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. He holds additional certification in Musculoskeletal Sonography (RhMSUS).
He has held teaching positions in Internal medicine prior to being drawn to his passion towards Rheumatology. He was a clinical instruction at Scranton Temple Residency Program and later was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at University of Florida at Jacksonville where he was a recipient of numerous Exemplary Teacher awards. He opened Arthritis and Rheumatology Care Center in 2013, Jacksonville, Florida.
He is a President of Florida Society of Rheumatology and was on the Editorial board at Duval County Medical Society. He is a Fellow of American College of Rheumatology and Fellow of American College of Physicians. He has made Jacksonville, Florida his home for over a decade and is married to Dr Komal Relan, who is a dentist in the community. When not at the office, Dr. Relan enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, giving back to the community through volunteer work, and traveling. He also participates in a variety of hobbies and athletic activities, including, and playing tennis with his son.
